Classifications of Friendship
Cambridge Advance Learner's Dictionary define friendship as 'when two person are friends' and define friend as 'a person whom you know well and whom you like a lot, but who is usually not a member of your family'
how do you classify friendship? when do you call a friend a best friend, a close friend, a good friend, a normal friend or aquintance?
many times, for me personaly might have expected too much from my friends. Someone once told me, don't put the standard that you have on yourself on your friends. If they don't meet up to your expectations, both sides will suffer. it is best to not have expectation, it's better to get suprises! Then everyone will be happy..
For me, there is no need to classify people... what's the purpose of doing that? Friendships don't have to be complicated, they should be simple. This is not to say that friendships don't require effort -- they do, but there is no need to strive...
Well, yes we actually don't need to. Agreed on the point that there is no need of doing that. Keep it simple, less headache, less heartache....
It takes both hands to clap, if only one is trying -- no sound will be produce.
Friendships, is an area that God is teaching me to handle in this season. It may require heartaches, tears and disappointments. But, that is all part and parcel of life, we all go through it.
My 'muscle' of faith will be tougher and tougher under God's intensive training... To lift people up when need lifting, to carry people when need carrying, to hold people when need holding.
Like I always say, none of the tears that fall will go to waste...
