he mentioned 7 points to the unity buster:-
1) indepence - referred to Isaiah 14 where Lucifer fell due to independence.
2) inability to reconcile and flow with other giftings.
3) lack of respect for protocol
4)selfishness - Phil 2:5
5) lack of forgiveness
6) inability to cover a brother's weakness'
7) lack of submission to authority
he ended by asking us to remember 5 words, there are "I am wrong, I'm sorry"
something he said that is pretty interesting.
'small people cannot apologise but big people can apologise'
he also mentioned what Tsun Tze said 'divide and conquer', if we are divided, it's very easy for devil to come in therefore unity is very important.
have you tried breaking a stick by itself and tried breaking a bunch of sticks?
this came from Gen 9:21-26, where Noah's son Ham, saw the nakedness of the father but did not cover for him but went out and tell the other two brother. God curse him. Kindah have the opinion that Ham actually conducted sodomy. On the other hand, Shem and Japheth took a garment, walk backwards into the tent and cover the nakedness of their father and God blessed them.
Just change the whole scenario to today's world.
